Alfredo for HP
The Alfredo module for the Heat-Pump (HP), is a Hydronic unit that adds to the Central-Heating HP the capability to fully transfer its capacity and efficiency to heat the Sanitary (Domestic) water (DHW), for fast showering.
Now the HP can supply both central-heating, and showers without waiting or limiting themselves, at 70% savings, or inadvertant cooling in the process.
The unit is supplied as a kit, currently designed to be an external Add-On, the HP, with minimal integration, for ease of installation.
Details about the module
The system is composed of the Hydronic unit, which should be placed near the HP and the tank. Connecting kits to the water-tank.
The Module operates as follows:
When the HP detects that the water in the tank are not hot enough for the coming showers, it will turn ON, and divert its hot water to the Alfredo Unit.
The Alfredo Unit will detect this, and transfer the enrgy to the Domestic water in the tank, under control to heat and not to inadvertantly cool the water
When the HP “decides” to stop heating the tank, its flow of water will stop, automatically also stopping the Alfredo.
